Bridge's RIF Book Distribution Fair

Today, I made my first appearance as a titleholder to support my partnership with Reading Is Fundamental (RIF).

My chapter of Reading Is Fundamental (RIF), Beginning the Journey, donated 83 books to students at Bridge's Public Charter School in Washington, DC. Bridge's describes its mission as the following

"Our mission is to provide a free, exemplary early childhood educational program for all preschoolers, with and without special needs. Our developmentally appropriate, family and child-centered educational program nurtures students and expands their skills and abilities, building a foundation for life-long learning."

Their mission fits in perfectly with those of RIF because our mission is to create a literate nation, one child at a time. This begins with providing a superb early childhood education.

It was my pleasure to help Bridge's PCS further it's mission while furthering those of Reading Is Fundamental (RIF).
