I have always wished to represent the married couples of Maryland at a national pageant and amazingly I will have two opportunities to do so in 2010. Let me explain further...
In June of this year I entered the US of America pageant as an incentive to use my gym membership but unfortunately I was unable to attend. To my surprise the director, Christina Couto, transferred my entry fee to 2010. I learned of this news after entering the 2010 Mrs. All American pageant which bring me to my earlier statement.
Since receiving my 2010 crown/sash for the US of America pageant system I have agonized about what I would do to promote each title since it is only fair to do so because a number of other ladies in Maryland would love the opportunity to be Mrs. Maryland.
My plan is to make appearances for both systems...on separate occasions of course. By accepting each title I think this is the only honorable thing to do. With this in mind, I am going to start "labeling" my blog posts so it is easy to find info on appearances and each title.
