Many national pageants are holding their events now or in the near future. I have enjoyed sharing in the journey of many of this year's state titleholders for the Mrs. International, Mrs. United States and Mrs. America systems via their blogs. I am amazed at the caliber of women that participate in pageantry. As one smart director stated "We are selecting a representative from winners because you are all winners" rings so true about these ladies.
While seeing other's prepare for their competition I get excited about my own preparation. My community service work is on going so I have not made any changes to this aspect of my life however I now spend approximately one hour per day at the gym. Additionally, I am working with a personal trainer to help me fine tune my physique for the fitness competition. I am your typical girl that loves to shop so of course I have made some selections for my competition wardrobe. So far I have purchased my evening gown and interview attire. There are many other things I need to accomplish to represent Montgomery County and it's married couples and families well but I am excited for the challenge and opportunity.
