Writing and Reading

Jade wrote her name for the first time today.

I was so proud because she wrote it from memory instead of seeing it written. Plus her handwriting is extremely good and looks similar to that of a 6 year. I am such a proud momma. I must be honest, I nearly cried when I witnessed her writing her name for the first time.

Vanessa read an entire book to me tonight in place of me reading their bedtime story to them.

Both of my girls are making me so proud and re-enforce that everything I do with my platform of "Reading: Is the Key to Your Future" and RIF are instrumental and must be practice first with one's own family.
