Lion King performed by the Davis Center

Today, the girls, Queena and myself attended the Lion King performance presented by the Davis Center dance ensemble in Washington, DC.

This was the first "live" show that the girls have seen that did not include caricature costumes and was done completely through dance. Jade had many questions about the production because it was not what she expected however she knew the Lion King story well enough to follow along with the production. Vanessa loved the dance moves and wardrobing used and seemed to follow along pretty well considering it was our first time watching a dance production as a family.

After the production I wanted to enroll the girls into dance lessons...we will see.
