Today, I participated in the March for Babies walk in Rockville, MD to support my pageant sister Deanna.

I had a great time supporting a great cause and getting to know other members of the team better.

*Helped Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) raise over $12,674,000 (12,674 million dollars) in cash donations and in kind book sponsorships.
*Presidential Volunteer Service Award Recipient
*Nominated for Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) 2009 Volunteer of the Year Award.
*Founded and manage operations as Executive Director of the Beginning the Journey chapter of Reading Is Fundamental.
*Beginning the Journey is selected as Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) program of the month (February 2009)
*Received proclamation from Mayor Bruce Williams declaring June 14, 2008 as Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) day.
*Organized, procured funding and purchased over 2200 books for local low income children for the Beginning the Journey chapter of Reading Is Fundamental (RIF) distribution fairs.
