My Girl's First Visit to the Carnival

Earlier this week my girls noticed a Ferris Wheel in our local shopping center parking lot and decided immediately that we were going to the carnival. I told them that we could go on Saturday (today).

It rained practically all day so I was scared that I would be forced to break a promise to my children. To my great joy it stopped raining and the sun came out.

The carnival is exactly how I remembered it as a child. Rides, games and the sweet smell of cotton candy, pop corn, hot dogs and FUNNEL CAKE. Since I am "in training" for Mrs. International I did not succumb to any of these great smells but instead enjoyed the other pleasures of the carnival. My children had a ball on the rides and was especially excited about the Ferris Wheel. After getting to the top Jade became scared however and started to cry so I asked the operator to allow them not to stay on.

All in all the girls had a great time. Maybe next year they will actually get to ride the Ferris Wheel.
