September is national literacy month and President Obama and the first lady celebrates the joy of reading by hosting the 2009 National Book Festival, organized and sponsored by the Library of Congress. The event will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2009, on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., between 7th and 14th streets from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The festival is free and open to the public.
