Girl Scouts Ways

With the beginning of a new Girl Scouting year I focus on informing the new Brownies that being a Girl Scout makes you part of a very special group of people!

The basis for instruction for this topic was the "try-it" Girl Scout Ways. Scouts learned the history of Girl Scouting; it's mission; how to perform the scouting law and pledge; became familiar with the quiet signed, handshake and Girl Scout squeeze. In addition, scouts were required to tell troop member why they are special and discussed ways to make their world a better place.
