First Lady Michelle Obama joined National Education Association (NEA) President Dennis Van Roekel and Secretary of Education Arne Duncan, along with members of Congress, NEA leaders, and hundreds of local students at the Library of Congress for the national kickoff of NEA's Read Across America Day, March 2, the birthday of the beloved Dr. Seuss.
It is always encouraging to see the first lady supporting a cause that is so dear to my heart.
