Family and friends gathered to celebrate Vanessa's 9th birthday with a Hawaiian Luau themed birthday party at Nana's house.
Upon arrival each party goer was greeted "Aloha", received their own custom lei and ranger hat. While at the party the children played games, chatted and entertained themselves as children do. After everyone arrived it was time to eat. The menu included chips, punch, hotdogs and a variety of pizza's. Peperoni and cheese were the obvious fan favorites. After eating the children played some more. No meal is complete without dessert and at a birthday party one can't leave without birthday cake. A marbled Hello Kitty cake was the featured item for this course along with Napolean ice cream. Only one thing that could hold a party goers attention after the cutting of the birthday cake is of course the opening of gifts...many were art related and to Vanessa's delight.
